Started with er 01, then all lights on. Nothing worked until I held down the cancel buttom about 20 sec. Now DF shows and nothing will work. How do I reset
Hello Shirley - Typically error code ER01 indicates that a water leak is detected under the tub. Unit will possibly need a hydraulic kit. Try unplugging the unit or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. Could the error code DF possibly be PF? If so, PF means power failure and you should be able to start a cycle. If the error code continues to display on dishwasher then I suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and repair it.

CONTACT ELECTROLUX. YOU EITHER HAVE A FAULTY TOUCH PAD OR A BAD RIBBON CONNECTION.

Usually the error code 01 means you backed up water in the unit. First be sure that the drain is clear. Run the garbage disposal and be sure your sinks are draining.
I got lucky on a EIDW6105 unit by trying this.
All the lights are flashing and it shows error code 01.
Push down on two of the buttons and hold (I pushed on the Favorite and Heavy buttons), until the flashing stops (about 8 seconds).
The machine now showed and error code 08. Then hit the start button. My washer then cleared and runs normally.
Hope this helps, better than a sevice call to clear the code.

I found the error codes in the owners manual, (01) is a leak. I called customer service (no wait time) and they said there is pan under the tub that will contain and detect water if it leaks. They said I could wait for it to dry out. They said there could be a hose that became loose or had a pin hole in it. After I hung up with customer service I did my own problem solving. The diswasher washing cycle was just started. Then then the door was opened 5 to 6 times to add more utensils and dishes while the the machine was running. Then the error code came on. this was the first time this had happened. I beleive water seeped doen through the hinges and the seal into the pan. I unpluged the dishwasher and disconnected the water line and pulled it from under the counter. Then lifted the diswasher onto 4 inch blocks of wood placed under the feet. This made it easier to access the pan. It had 2 screws inthe front and 1 in the rear with 3 clips. I removed the pan and dried it. Inspected the hoses under the unit and determined none of them had appeared to be leaking. I positioned a fan to blow under the unit to speed up the dry time, about 1/2 an hour. Put everything back together and ran a high pressure hot water cycle and found no leakes, so far.

Dishwasher likely has leaked into drip pan underneath. Unfortunately, you need to remove dishwasher and flip onto back and remove 3 phillips screws that hold drip pan in place. Install "leak kit" to correct leak problem with this model of dishwasher. Part number is 154769101
Hello Darlene, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
The "ER" code that keeps appearing on your Electrolux dishwasher stands for a Membrane Switch Failure. Normally that means that your control board has detected a stuck key or key pressed for more than a minute. That could possibly be an issue with your keypad or main control board. I would recommend having a technician come out to your home to properly diagnose and repair your dishwasher. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
