I have a BT hub 2 for wireless connection to two HP Pavillion laptops. My wife has decided to work from home and needs an office with a fast connection. The room she is using is the furthest point from the hub with a load bearing wall between her and the hub. The signal strength on her laptop is barely 1 bar. I cannot move the hub any closer and do not want cables running upstairs from the hub. These were suggested as the easy method for a guaranteed connection. If only!

Suggestion: Move your router. Your PC 3 appears to be in a 'dead zone' so to speak.

Should boost your signal by a couple decibels

You would normally set it up as an access point. But bridge would work too.

First thing, Does your printer have a wireless facility built in? If not it has to be connected to the hub with ethernet.
Normally setting up a wireless printer involves using cables until the set-up is complete. It's nothing to do with the router but all to do with the printer.
Best thing is to go through the manual.
