Lexmark N2050 wireless adapter for X3500-4500 series printer

I have worked all day on this. Installed wireless adapter according to directions. Set up wireless router for new laptop as directions dictated. Wireless internet is working, but can not print to the lexmark. It's wi-fi light still glowing a constant orange. I'm exhausted. Installed printer driver in new laptop from printer disk. Still have desktop computer connected to printer via USB. Please help, what have I missed.

Can I connect my Lexmark X5270 to my new iMac?

It should be a simple matter of visiting the Lexmark site and downloading the appropriate driver for your system. If Lexmark does not provide driver software for Apple computers, then you will not be able to connect the printer.

My wireless printer is extremely temperamental. Sometimes it prints just fine; however, the WiFi light is now completely off and I can't seem to get it back on. I have had multiple issues with this...

If unplugging/replugging your printer into the power source won't turn on the WiFi light on the printer, you may need to reset its wireless network adapter (How to Reset the Internal Network Adapter on Lexmark Z2400 Series Printers). After resetting the adapter, you will then need to reinstall the printer back to your wireless network. Make sure to allow all access to Lexmark softwares and communications in the program rules/permissions for your firewall.

Why can i not install my lexmark 6500 series to my Mac

Lexmark 6500 Series (WiFi) Mac Driver can be located and installed as a previously set up printer if you used it with another computer or OS:
http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=downloadFile&actp=CONTENT&productCode=LEXMARK_X6575&id=DR20481&segment=DOWNLOAD&userlocale=EN&locale=en&oslocale=en_US&osVendor=MACINTOSH&osCats=Mac+OS+X+10.6
Driver Download from web, same as a CD: 6500 Series Web Installer.dmg
I hope this will solve the problem. If you have a problem go to the Applications folder/ Lexmark for the wireless set up. You will need the printers print cable, USBed to your computer and follow the directions. Good luck.

In my travels, I believe the matching brand for this type of architecture makes the best sense and Lexmark would be quicker to support any issues. Best bet is ti go with Lexmark 802.11b Wireless Print Adapter bridge ( 1010042 )
