Sony Handycam DCR-PC109 NTSC minicam--"Reinsert

The C31 indicates that there is a motor movement problem. I don't have the manual handy at the moment, but the :23 will indicate which movement is having the problem. This is not typically a DIY repair. I woul d strongly suggest that you check the fixed repair cost from a Sony authorized service center. This will not only repair the unit, but also reset it back to factory specifications.

I'll look up the error code tonight and try to update this.

Try resetting the Camcorder to the factory settings by pressing the reset button. If the issue persists, try power resetting the camcorder. To power reset, remove the battery of the Camcorder and press and hold the power button for 30 second(or turn the Power switch to ON position for 30 seconds) and reinsert the battery after one minute and check the operation. If the issue still persists, the service is required.
