Car only blows heat on passenger side, Drivers side still cold even after replacing the actuator. What else could it be?

The car doesn't blow any hot air on the driver's side of the car. I replaced the actuator on the driver's side and did the reset with the fuse. It still only blows cold air.

Air conditioning system, when you turn on the air conditioner the drivers side blows cold air and the passengers side blows hot air? What causes this problem?

The most common cause of this is that you have a stuck air temperature control blend door, this can be a motor actuator issue or a jammed door or both (common). To replace both parts you will need to completely remove the dash from the car to access the blend door.

Driver side blowing hot air passenger side blowing cold air

I'm having the same problem except on mine it's the driver's side that's blowing cold. Do you have the pictures in a finer resolution? I can't make them out and when I zoom, they are too grainy. Does the replacement require removing the dashboard? What's the general cost of the acuators? Are they readily available at like NAPA or other parts stores?

Hello, this is cused by the drivers side temp door actuator. there are two electric motors that move the temp doors from cold to hot. there is one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side. you will need to replace the one for the drivers side.

  • Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator.
  • Remove the knee bolster bracket bracket. Disconnect the electrical connector from the left air temperature actuator.
  • Remove the mounting screws from the left air temperature actuator.
