Paper jaam

If old need to replace all rollers that feed paper - not an easy job
Try changing paper
Once you open the package paper attracts water like crazy and gets very humid and it will jam on regular basis
Try and keep your paper out of humidity
good luck

I have a piece of paper stuck in the top of my hp 1012 printer and I cannot get at the area where the paper is.

Follow these steps to remove jammed paper from the printer

.
1.Open the print cartridge door, and then remove the print cartridge.
NOTE:  Opening the print cartridge door and removing the print cartridge relieves tension on the product rollers, which prevents damage to the product and makes the removal of jammed pages easier.

CAUTION:  To prevent damage to the print cartridge, cover it with a sheet of paper to minimize exposure to direct light.

2.With both hands, grasp the paper where it is most visible, including the middle, and then carefully pull the paper straight out of the product.

MY LEXMARK 4505 LEAVES 3-4 BLACK BLOTCHES ON THE EDGE OF EACH PAPER IT PRINTS, TRIED CLEANING THE ROLLERS TO NO AVAIL, ANY SUGESTIONS

ADJUST THE COLOR AND PRINT SPEED You may need to adjust the color and print speed. CHECK THE LEVEL OF INK IN THE PRINT CARTRIDGES 1 From the Finder desktop, double-click the Lexmark X5400 Series folder. 2 Double-click the Lexmark X5400 Series Utility icon. 3 From the Maintenance tab, check the ink levels of the cartridges. If an exclamation point (!) appears on a cartridge, the ink level is low. Install a new cartridge. Improving print quality These are possible solutions. Try one or more of the following: CHECK PAPER • Use the appropriate paper for the document. If you are printing photos or other high-quality images, for best results use Lexmark Photo Paper or Lexmark PerfectFinish Photo Paper. Do not use Lexmark Premium Photo Paper. Your print cartridges are not compatible with this type of paper. • Use a paper that is a heavier weight or bright white. CHECK PRINT CARTRIDGES If the document still does not have the print quality you want, follow these steps: 1 Align the print cartridges. For more information, see "Aligning print cartridges" on page. If print quality has not improved, continue to step 2. 2 Clean the print cartridge nozzles. For more information, see "Cleaning the print cartridge nozzles" . If print quality has not improved, continue to step 3. 3 Remove and reinsert the print cartridges. For more information, see "Removing a used print cartridge" on and "Installing print cartridges" . If print quality has not improved, continue to step 4. 4 Wipe the print nozzles and contacts. For more information, see "Wiping the print cartridge nozzles and contacts". If print quality is still not satisfactory, replace the print cartridges. For more information, see "Ordering print cartridges". Canon pixma mx340 4-in-1 wireless printer thinks it's jammed when it's not. say "error 6000". Assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you

error 6000 is a paper jam, which means there is something in the flag that senses whether or not there is paper in the path. Look very carefully in the area just before the paper comes out before the printing area. You will likely find a small piece of paper stuck, or a small object. Often a small inspection mirror helps.

Paper is not jaam but printer showing paper jaam again & again.

Several things can cause a jam. I can suggest checking the paper path very well, especially if you have had a jam in the past, a little piece of paper there could be triggering a sensor and causing the message. Another thing might be rollers worn out or dirty. If the rollers rotate 3 times and no pick up happen it will show paper jam, try a humid tissue to clean it.

Not printing glossy A4 paper / paper jam / no paper feed

dont use thick photo paper like 230 gsm up, instead use 180 gsm papers. but if you dont want to waste the purchased thick photo papers, you can open the back and manually insert the paper once the printing process started. i tried this as a trial & error basis until i had perfected it.... hope it works with yours.
