Hi sir you have got a fault in the matrix board it is a kind of three amp. that drives the three colours to the screen so you have the green driver deffect manythings do that maybe a bs dout put transistor or a bad driver ic gain voltage and maybe a dried up capacitor that filters the green input or at last a bad screen green gun these things may be checked only bay qualified person to see the problem please don't forget to rate , remember i am here only to help u thanx

My T.V. has a funny color .. more of double viewing with purple and green what can I do to fix this?

Degaussing means to demagnify. Not applicable with a projection tv. You have a severe convergence problem. Either a component failure, a speaker or other powerful magnet in very close proximity or someone figured out how to adjust (or misadjust) it.

Trouble with the red cannon

Hello, is the blue blur the only blue on the screen? The reason I ask is because the vertical defection to the blue CRT might be going bad and producing a blue line across the screen. I doubt that it is a convergence problem, but it may also be a magnetism problem and you may need to degauss your set with a degaussing coil (check ebay for specials on this device). I have seen a lot of the projection TVs end up needing to be demagnetized (degaussed). Try degaussing it first and then look at the possibility of a vertical deflection problem and then possibly a convergence issue.

Horizontal 'pinstripe' lines on all channels

sound like the screen control on the flyback is set just a little too high. the flyback has the red wire attached to the tube. the flyback has 2 small adjustable controls. if you look close enough 1 is marked focus & on is screen. turn the screen slightly to the left & look at your picture. the screen is like a master brightness & if it's up too high you will see what is called retrace lines. good luck.

Several dozen thin horizontal white lines across the top of screen, all channels

These beasts are monsters to get into and service without the proper extenstion cables and a service manual. there are no user replaceable parts inside this set. if you know solid state serviceing, you can try and fix it. There is a bad capacitor or capacitors in the vertical sweep circuit and or the vertical output IC is bad also. If you can solder and unsolder go for it. But if you do not or know how the circuit Works Please find a trained tech to assist you with this repair. Good Luck. PS please do not forget to rate this.
