I seem to have the same problem that a lot of people are having with these RCA Opal M4208 8GB mp3 players. I have installed the EasyRip Software, used the firmware updates as instructed, & I still have to use the "drap & drop" to get music on there, (even with the installed RCA Video Converter I cannot LOAD video into the mp3 player b/c it is still undetected by the RCA EasyRip). It appears as "Opal" under my flash drive port (I have 6 & have tried them all), but as far as being able to access the full Module Dock for the EasyRip software, no can do. I have 2 of them as gifts for my teen boys...so you can imaging the large issue with their not working properly......yeah, I am losing my mind.... :)
Did you first import media to your easy rip, if not that could be the problem. otherwise I a not sure what it could be but easy rip is not that great of a software, once you import the song and decide to move its location you have to import it again and duplicates remain on easy rip which is very annoying, but thats another issue. If you want you can also use windows media player to add music by syronize your MP3 with it. this could be alot simpler.
