I am note fully understanding what you are saying here. Perhaps English is not your first language. A Camera cannot have a VIRUS - they don't work like a computer. When you say HELD I assume you mean STOPPED. I think what you are saying is that the battery life is very short. What does the manual say about expected battery life- 15-30 minutes on continuously is very good. but not so good in the occasional shot and then in sleep mode. Have you tried a new battery?

Make sure the battery connectors on the battery and inside the camera are clean (use a qtip and alcohol), and make sure the battery is fully charged.
If the unit is still malfunctioning, it will have to be opened up to be serviced. Take it by a repair shop to get an estimate- often, it's just better to go ahead and get a new camera, since the cost of repair can be substantial.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

D3000 -How to use the burst mode?

If the shooting information is not displayed in the monitor, press the info button. Press the <i> button to place the cursor in the information display. Use the direction arrows to highlight the current release mode and press OK. Choose Continuous release mode (the overlapping rectangles).

In this mode the camera will take approximately three frames per second as long as the shutter release button is held down. The speed will be slower with slower shutter speeds, and eventually you'll fill up the memory buffer and then the memory card.

While using the camera to shoot outside video it works great, but while shooting inside video the video is fuzzy and grainy, Do I have a setting out of place?

It's not getting enough light, and the auto fucus usually sets to what you first shoot, so pick your distance, in a darker area, point it there, then start shooting, moving to more light area. This is general info, not totally familiar with your camera, see your manual for specific help and limitations.

Camera turns off after lens comes out in shooting mode.

I'd recommend that you stop banging or fiddling with the lens as it does not sound like a lens error (if it were so, you'd still get an error even in review mode). Instead it sounds like the brand of batteries that you're using may not be providing sufficient power.

Alkaline batteries just don't have the power for more than a few pics in a digital camera. Some may even have problems just powering startup of the camera. Digital cameras for the most part should only be used with rechargeable NiMH batteries. Most retailers sells these for around $7 for a package of four (about $15-19 for the batteries with charger). Keep in mind they'll save you big bucks in the long run over alkalines, AND they'll last for at least 100 pictures per charge (and probably many many more). You'll be very pleased with their performance, and may slap yourself for not buying them sooner. When at the store, look on the package for a power rating of at least 2500 mah.

RCA prov712 battery will only last 5 minutes

Be sure to charge for AT LEAST 14 hours on the new battery, even if the charger light goes out - it's still trickle charging. It's normal for most camcorders to auto-shut off after 5 minutes, if it's not recording. But if your batt light comes on, the problem is probably with the battery.

Can not load any cassette even empty cassette holder can not be closed.

I had the same problem and solved it by removing the battery to allow the camera to reset. Worked fine after that.
