I have acquired a Bluetooth headset & I need to know if there is anything I need to do to make it work with our Motorola W315 cell phone or is it ready for use. As you can tell were TOTALLY new with this. Thanks for any help!
This post is quite old but i think i'll answer it...first of all your phone must have bluetooth. to use it you must pair your phone with your bluetooth headset first. Open your bluetooth headset in pair mode and then open your phone bluetooth pair them and they will auto connect after you paired them(usually).

The NEC SL1100 phone can be used with a wireless headset, but it will require a specific type of connection.
The NEC SL1100 phone has a 2.5mm headset jack, which is not compatible with most wireless headsets, which typically use a USB or Bluetooth connection.
To use a wireless headset with the NEC SL1100 phone, you will need a USB-to-2.5mm headset adapter or a Bluetooth-to-2.5mm headset adapter.
The Plantronics CS50 wireless headset is not directly compatible with the NEC SL1100 phone. However, Plantronics offers a USB-to-2.5mm headset adapter which can be used with the CS50.
It's worth noting that some NEC SL1100 phones are equipped with a built-in Bluetooth module, which allows you to connect a Bluetooth headset directly. To check if your NEC SL1100 phone has this feature, you can check the user manual or contact the manufacturer.
It's important to check the compatibility of the wireless headset and the phone system, before making any purchase. It's recommended to consult the manual of the phone system or the technical support of the phone system provider to ensure that the wireless headset you plan to purchase is compatible with the phone system.
Hi eidref,
Any Mobile Phone should be compatible with your Jabra BT headset, as laong at the Mobile phone has Bluetooth that will work.
See the Manual but most likely it will not say since it is compatible to any Mobile as long as the mobile is Bluetooth capable.
Have a nice day.
You will need the same version of bluetooth and the headset. Version 2.1 is backwards compatible with version 1.2. That being said, your phone will need to have the higher version of bluetooth technology. So therefore your headset will not work with this phone.
Have a cell phone that is Bluetooth compatible. You can check your cell phone to make sure that it is Bluetooth compatible by looking in the settings. There should be an option for Bluetooth listed. Click on it and ensure that it is set to "Allow other Bluetooth devices to find me."
First you need to pair your bluetooth with your cellphone. Go to your cellphones manual and look on how to pair it with a bluetooth. You would need the passcode for pairing, after that then you connect your bluetooth to your phone. Sometimes it depends also on what kind of cellphone you have. Some older model of cellphones are not compatible with the newer bluetooth. Let me know if this works.
Your headset is compatible with any device that is bluetooth enabled. The easiest way to check is your phone manual or the device menu or settings screen of your phone. So if you know the phone supports bluetooth, it is just a matter of enabling it. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
I'm having the same problem with my verizon vx8600 phone. Only with a jabra bt350 (listed as compatible). It actually doesn't find anything at all, no phones, no headsets, no bluetooth enabled PC's. Not really sure what to do since I've discovered handsfree talking, I never want to go back
Push and hold both vol(+) and vol (-) at the same time for approx 2 secs. The headset will falsh green and red lights. Get your phone to search for bluetooth devices. It should find the headset. Enter pairing code 1234 in phone. Done
