Makes noise when agitating

If it is a new washingmachine, the wash might be a bundle wich produces an unbalance in the drum.
If you have the machine for a longer period and know the machine , it might be a rubber between motor and machine housing.

Indsit washingmachine: making scraping noise when spinning. metal drum inside feels loose and is leaning forward making it scrape on whatever is underneath. how do i stop the drum doing this?

If the inner drum is loose the bearing may have failed or the drum shaft spider may have broken. the scrapping will be the drum hitting the heating element.

Bumping noise during spin cycle

Hello.

Although a noisy washing machine is not typically a signthat something is broken, it definitely can be annoying. Usually the noise froma washing machine can be fixed fairly easily, but a few different fixes mayneed to be tried before it can be determined what the true culprit of the noisewas. INSTRUCTIONAND TOOLS NEEDED STATED BELOW Flashlight, Screwdriver, Drive belt 1 Check the drum bearings if the washing machine ismaking a rumbling noise. The noise may possibly stem from water getting intothe bearings. Take the belt off and spin the drum by hand. If there is arumble, remove the bearings and replace them with new ones. 2 Check the spider at the back of the drum. The spideris the three-armed device that holds the drum in place. If there is one loudnoise on each revolution of the drum, there is a good chance the spider haspartially become loose. Tighten the bolts on the spider to silence the noise itcauses. 3 Check for coins. If the noise the washing machinemakes sounds like metal on metal, there is a good chance that some change hasslipped from a pocket and is now in the dryer. Take a flashlight and look inthe drum for coins, paper clips, and other small items. 4 Adjust the legs. Many washing machines make morenoise than they should because they have not been properly balanced. Re-adjustthe legs to make sure that they are all even. This will keep the washingmachine from moving and will ensure that the noise it creates while it moveswill go away. 5 Replace the drive belt. Often a high-pitched squeakynoise can come from a drive belt that has been worn down. Simply replacing theold belt with a new one will fix this problem.
Thank.
