I know that all motorola phones are basically the same so i hope you can help!!!! My phone has lost sond on all incomming call ring tones and alarms. I checked the volume and that the phone is not on silent..any suggestions?

There is no problem in the cel phone

check that the speaker of phone is not damaged,,,it is also possible that the link between your mobil speaker is broken
this happen due to small inside wiring

To assign ringtones, you need to make sure the entries are stored to the phone, and not to the SIM card. To check where it's stored, go to the phone book, select the name of the person you want to personalize (ring tone, picture, etc), and click edit. In the Entry Details screen, the Store to: option probably says SIM. Change it to Store to: Phone. After you do that, there should be alot more info you can put in for the person. Near the bottom is "Ringer ID" and "Picture" which you can then customize for the person.
