Problems Saving data to SD card

Why does my vivicam not save pictures to the sd card like it is supposed to? No matter what I do it only saves to the internal memory. The manual says it cannot do this when a SD card is installed and yet ....... have made sure the card is installed correctly, made sure the card isn't locked or protected, have cleared internal memory, everything I can think of.

pretty sure I have done. Although there is no mention of doing so in the instruction manuel I did select the option of 'format card' in the set up menu. However I never got a positive rsponse to say it had been done so I have no real idea if that worked or not.

I assume I have to do it with the card in camera rather than with the card in the card reader plugged into my pC?

Sounds like you are saving to the SD card and it has a corruption. See if you can save successfully to the device memory. If so then backup all the SD data and replace the card.
