Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3i SLVR L7 L8 OEM Original Stereo Cell Phone Hands Free Headset Headset

1 Answer

Microsd trouble I have a motorola razr and just bought a new 1gb microsd card for it. At first the card did not work beacse it said it was unformatted but i turned the fone off and back on and the fone recognised the fone. The carn now however will not let ma store things onit because it says there is insufficient storage space but there is nothing stored on the card yet. Any suggestions on how i can fix this problem?

Either the card needs formating again, or you are still sending files to the onboard memory, in the pictures or sound menu, you have to switch the storage device to the sd card because it is not automatic; by pressing the button for options and then select switch storage device

Will not accepstorage card

The V3xx can accept up to 1G microSD cards, possibly a 2G card if you have the right firmware for it, but won't work with 4G or larger.

What size card are you trying to use? Mine works with 1G cards but doesn't recognize 2G cards.

Memory card will not format

No. The maximum size of memory card supported by this model is 1GB microSD type only. So it wont recognize your 2 GB memory card.

Razr K1m with Memory Card = No service

It is very possible that the card is bad. The phone is rated for a 4 gb card. You might want to try a Sandisk microsd instead. If it still doesn't work it may actually be the phone. Sorry I wasn't much help..:-(

Installing a 2GB PNY Micro SD Card

Hello,

Only the Sprint version of this phone supports memory cards over 1 Gigabyte. Sorry. But if you have a Sprint phone comment back to me using the comment box below. Thanks.

If you don't have a Sprint phone you need to acquire a 1GB card and use that. Hold on to your 2GB card as it will be usable when you upgrade at the end of your contract period.
