Question about Samsung SMC-150F 15 in.CRT Conventional Monitor
I have 3nos. of Samsung 15" color Monitor based on DP14L15L whose EHTs were burned out.I have replaced all the EHT and all three started working but with a color problem in all three of them. In one of them blue color is a bit too much, in one of them the red color is a bit too much and the other one is having excess of green color. There is no preset to adjust the color. I've tried to interchange the base boards, but the problems remain all the same. Some one told me to go to the "Service Mode" and adjust. How can I do this? Please help me!!!

SOURCE: Color Problem:
in Monitor CRT Red-Blue-green cathode guns are there.. Mixing of these colour we can get the original colour chrominace technique. if any of the colour gun is faulty we would get more REad or blue or green picture. Measure RGB voltages. you can verfify which gun is faulty. if then check RGB processing circuits. Else there might be problem Chrominance colour decoder system. Contact service centre

Could be a pin is damaged in the 15 pin connector or the cable is damaged. Have you tried adjusting the colour controls?

Unfortunately, this is not a fixable problem. Samsung CRT monitors are well known for losing color; they have defective cathode ray tubes. I recommend that you buy an lcd screen. sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear! don't forget to rate
