Issue: Scanning from MP Navigator cannot be performed in Mac OS X 10.5 Solution: Use a Different Application such as ImageCapture or PhotoStudio to Acquire images
Use a Different Application such as ImageCapture or PhotoStudio to Acquire images
Some incompatibilities have been noted with some versions of Toolbox and MP Navigator.
Use a Different Application such as ImageCapture or PhotoStudio to Acquire images. ImageCapture and ArcSoft PhotoStudio (if installed) can be found in the Applications folder on the hard drive.
Check the Canon Website frequently for updates to Toolbox or MP Navigator
I'm assuming that this is only occurring in ArcSoft PhotoStudio? You may need to install an application that is more up today and compatible with Vista. I don't know if that version of PhotoStudio is compatible. You should check with ArcSoft. There is a patch for the 2000 version of PhotoStudio...but again, I don't know if PhotoStudio 2000 is Vista Compatible.
Use ArcSoft PhotoStudio that came with the scanner. Open ArcSoft PhotoStudio. Open your image file (File | Open). Select the 'T' on the Toolbar. Click where you want to add text and you're ready to start typing.
