Can't locate the speakerphone on my motorola razr

Hi, This might be a ridiculous question, but how do I get the speakerphone activated in my motorola razr? I've not seen any options in the menu that make sense to me (and it's not one of the options available when a call is active, there's only 'mute') thanks!

I am having trouble activating the speakerphone on my razr v3. When I push the silver button that is supposed to activate it, that button activates camera/video instead? How can I get that button (or another one) to activate speakerphone?

Do you have to be on a call for the speaker to be activated?

When you open the flip on the phone, it will be the upper small silver button above the volume buttons on the left side. Just press and hold until you hear a beep. It should only take 2 seconds.

How do i turn off the speaker on motorola razr v3c

The speakerphone remains on until you press the smart/speakerphone key again or turn off the phone. You will see Spkrphone Off.
You can also set your phone to turn off the
speakerphone automatically after 20 seconds of inactivity:
Press the center key > wSettings > Initial Setup> SpeakerPhone > 20 sec timeout
Also The handsfree speaker is disabled when you connect your phone to a handsfree car kit or headset accessory.

Razr only works on speakerphone

The other post refers to the process that allows you to use speaker only, instead of automatically selecting earpiece. Unfortunately, this will not resolve your issue, as it appears that your earpiece has a loose connection and must be repaired, or you can continue to use speakerphone, bluetooth (if capable), or wired headset.

I am unable to turn off the speakerphone! Motorola razr

Soft-reset the device by taking out the battery. Wait 30 seconds and replace battery. If your issue still persists, contact your carrier for "hard-reset" instructions. Now once you have tried both options, yet are still unable to turn off your speakerphone, your device is having hardware issues and needs to be replace or service and repaired by your carrier.
