Kenwood kdc-601fm i got this kenwood changer and it was working great the other day then all of a sudden it just stop.i could put the disc in but they would not load.if someone could help me eith this problem i will appreciate it.

Unfortunately the E99 code is not definitive. There may be a mechanical jam with the changer or a problem with the motor.

you need to purchase the correct bus cable

have you tryed all the wires the power might not be going to it or 1 of the main wire might of come out. or might just have to get a new cd changer

Find the RESET button, in sometimes is on the display,or in sometimes is on the cd changer,good luck.

The kvt-617dvd doesn't list your changer as one that's compatible. However the changer install procedure is relatively simple - just plug the 13-pin cable from the changer directly into the kvt-617's hideaway receiver. I would suggest you connect it to see if the changer will work before buying anything else.
