why not post year, swift, and what system you are working.
eg: my car wont move, got that.

Hi, If you have fuses on the stove have them checked and/or replaced with new ones.
You may have shorted out something when you made it wet.
Also check main power breaker if tripped. 115/230 volt breaker.

you got it went it wont work ever again to much water damage if you would of soaked it in rice after you dropped or whatever happened it would be fine

Nope, it's not the carb. The plug is wet and probably black as well. Wet plug and lots of smoke means too much oil in the mix which is where the problem lies. Get a compression tester and look at the pressure reading; anything less than 90psi means the piston ring is stuck and needs to be replaced/cleaned.

The lid switch is likely bad.

Sorry Buy a new laptop.When a loaptop gets wet it will get corrosive.eventuly nothing will work.
