Ch, first thing you want to do is check the hose going to the hot side of the inlet valve. There is a screen on the inlet valve that could be plugged with gunk, grit or sand. Remove the hose and clean it out. The humming you hear is the valve energizing. Something is preventing the water to come through. The rinse is usually cold water so that is why Im suspecting the hot side is plugged. Check this first and if that doesn't fix it, it may be the valve itself...Catriver..post back.

I load washer it starts the wash cycle it goes through wash cycle fine drains water but does not collect water for rinse cycle it just idles. So I turn knob to spin and it spins until done.

If it doesn't fill for the rinse, I would say that the cold inlet valve has failed. Check that the cold tap is turned on and check when the machine fills for the wash cycle and see if it is taking hot or cold water. You will probably find that it is filling only with hot water. A local spares store should have the valve you need.

HI, you have a combination issue. the Water fill level pressure switch and, the cycle selector switch are both damaged and, they should be replaced. the total cost of these switches will run you about $90.00.

We recommend the hands of a skilled service tech when repairing this type of electrical issue.

Washer won't fill on wash cycle, but will fill if I turn knob to rinse cycle. Machine will spin and agitate if I turn to appropriate spots, but no water will come in when it should to wash.I hear a humming...

water inlet valve sounds like it's bad and you can check the screen where the water lines hook up to the washer. those screens sometimes get so corroded the water won't get passed
