Want to delete songs but wont bring them all up

    i want to delete songs from it but it will not bring up the songs with any of my media players

I had the same problem, the only solution is to reformat your mp3 player, when you explore, right click on "sansa m240" then click "reformat" once this is dont, it will deleat all your songs on the device. the sandisc support line is 1-866-726-3475 or you can contact me at www.freewebs.com/mixedjujitsu

Deleting songs
In the player go to Settings->USB and set MSC. Now connect it to your computer and you'll be able to find the songs in the removable drive.

Deleting Songs
Use my computer. Bring up the mp3 player, go to the song list then left click on songs, (or highlight group) right click and delete.

Deleteing songs
Use Windows Media Player - you must delete them from the computer by selecting the mp3 player - you cannot delete them from the Mp3 player itself.

PROBLEME OF MEMORY.
My Sandisk Sansa m240 lost all the songs and then I could not delete them. I was able to laod up new songs, but there was no spare memory. I was able to fix this issue by re-formating.

Using windows explorer right click on the "Sandisk sansa M240" and click "format".

Now working OK.

You can connect the device to your computer and manage it thru "My Computer. Open My Computer, then open the device (i.e. Sansa m240). Inside there is a Music folder, you can delete them from here. You can also drag songs here to transfer to the player. If you are not able to see the "music" folder, you may need to enable "Hidden Files and Folders" on your computer. Best of Luck.

How do I bring up all the songs i downloaded so i can take some off
To delete a song off of your mp3 you just have to connect it to the computer and when it connects just open microsoft media player or the program that you use to connect your mp3 to your computer and choose the song you want to delete and then highlight it and press delete on your keyboard or right click on the song and click delete.

can't see files to delete them i have some audio MP3 files on my sansa m240. when I connect it to my computer to delete the files they don't show up. NOt even all of my music shows up but that's a different problem. Anyway, I've deleted audio before and I think I have to put it into a different mode but I can't remember how. Instead of MSC it has to be something else I think. I don't know, help. There are only a few files but I don't want to have to re-format my whole scandisk to get these off and they are taking up space.
