Hello, my sandisk mp3 player is great, but when i go to play a video, it plays fine but sometimes it just will freeze up and go to a lit black screen and nothing i push or do, even plugging it in to connect it works. i have to wait for the batteries to run out, charge it, and it works fine. please help. thanks, nicole
Hi Nicole. Does this happen to all your video files, or just that one file? Normally that would be an indication of a corrupted video file, or a video file type with a frame rate that is not fully supported by the E260. In any case, updating the firmware of the player won't hurt and may actually provide enhancements that would eliminate the error you're encountering. Try this link to download the Sansa Firmware updater. The instructions are included on that SanDisk link: For standard E260 or E260R "Rhapsody Series": http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 I hope this helps. There are other procedures available, but this might actually resolve issues with the player. Let me know the results. Syd :)
Hey, my sandisk e260 mp3 player does the same exact thing, however i hold the power button for about 30 seconds and then it resets.
