Connecting from laptop to tv wont work now. It was working fine previously

1. Place your laptop/PC close to your TV. ...
2. Insert the HDMI cable into your computer (the socket will be labeled 'HDMI')
3. Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the TV (this will be hidden under a flap)
4. Turn your TV on. Or Use one end of the cable to plug into your Wi-Fi router.

Check which port you have the HDMI cable connected to, then go into the menu on the TV, look for it on screen and Enable it .

Connecting laptop VGA port to HDMI port on a TV
VGA to HDMI converter is required to connect a laptop to a TV with HDMI input. The VGA signal does not have an audio component. You need to connect an audio cable from the audio/headphone port on your laptop to the audio connector on your TV. There are HDMI converters with Audio input so you do not need to connect an audio cable to the TV. The audio is connected to the HDMI converter and then passes the audio with the video data to the HDMI cable to HDMI port on the TV. There are two options available with this laptop. Unfortunatley you will not be able to produce a High Definition picture, but nether the less it is possible to connect it to a HD TV.
The connections available are;
1x VGA - You will need a VGA Cable (as long as your HD TV has a VGA/PC input) cheapest found on Ebay. There is also a VGA to HDMI cable. Still wont be HD but an alternative to think about.

1x S-Video (TV-Out) - You will need a S-Video Cable (make sure HD TV has this input) also cheapest on Ebay.

Both of these options do not produce audio through them so for this you will need a 3.5mm audio jack to 3.5mm audio jack. Plug one end into your earphone socket on your laptop and the other end into your HD TV PC Audio in socket/Audio in socket. If you have a Cinema/surround system you will need a 3.5mm audio jack to stereo phono, as long as the surround system has an audio input.

This TV has no HDMI input socket. It Has a DVI input socket. Therefore you will require an HDMI to DVI converter adapter or an HDMI to DVI cable. The DVI is video only so you will require audio cables from your Sky box (Audio L and R ) which will connect to the back left of your TV (Audio L/R sockets next to the s-video and component video connectors)

Same problem I had... My problem was with any HD input from PS3 (only HD device I have), the PS3 was fine on other televisions so I determined that it must be a problem with the TV in question. I fixed this problem by unplugging the TV, letting it sit for about a minute and then plugging back in.
