Can I change my windows 7 computer to XP with an XP disk

yes --
But you will loose all of your files and folders when you format the hard dive to install win xp
you cannot run 2 operating systems on the one hard drive unless the hard drive is partitioned ( in effect having 2 hard drives on the one disc) as it causes massive conflicts in operation
Why any one would install an out dated , unsupported operating system like win xp in place of win 7 beats me
of course if you insist in doing it you could always install and extra hard drive in the computer and run it as an extra hard drive and install the win xp on it and still retain all of your files and folders

How can i reboot my computer please

Rebooting a computer means, pressing the Reset/Restart button. But if you wish to securely restart it, click Start (Windows XP) and then "ShutDown" button, again click "Restart". There's another option when Windows XP is in Classic mode, once you press the Shutdown button, you'll see a small window showing "Shutdown", you can click the arrow button next to the "Shutdown" and then select "Restart", now click the "Ok" button to restart the system. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, click "Start", if you don't see the "Restart" button, you might be seeing the "Shutdown" button, just next to the "Shutdown" button, there's a small right arrow button, click it and select "Restart". Your system will restart.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.

Computer restarts on shutdown

If your computer constantly restarts while you are using it, or if you are trying to shut down the computer after it has stopped unexpectedly, click to clear the Automatically restart check box. If you clear this check box, you receive an error message when the computer stops responding. This error message may describe the cause of the problem. You can also review the system log in Event Viewer to view the critical stop error that occurs when the computer restarts.

  1. Click the Start button, right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
  2. Under System Failure, view the Automatically restart check box. If the Automatically restart check box is selected, Windows automatically restarts if the computer stops unexpectedly.
