Pairing WOM20 with Computer

My computer already has bluetooth, so I don't want to plug in the little USB thingy. Is there a way to put the DX-WOM20 into discover mode so I can pair it with my computer bluetooth? Thanks, Steve

I think you may be getting wireless confused with bluetooth. Your mouse is wireless and it needs the wireless sender unit connected to a usb port, but this is not bluetooth, it picks up the wireless signal from the sender to work. You will also need to install any software that you got with the mouse (if any), as you will need to set up the button and click functions, unless it just uses the normal pointing device driver in windows.

How to make a bluetooth headset pair with your phone or computer

1. All bluetooth headsets can be discovered by other bluetooth enabled devices (e.g. phone, computer) whenever they are in pairing mode.<br /><br />2. You'll know that it is in pairing mode by paying attention to its indicator light, which will always show a different configuration from the usual stand-by mode. On some of them, it will be steadily lit, whilst on others will flash rapidly, often in more than one color.<br /><br />3. You must ensure your headset is turned off, prior to putting it in that mode.<br /><br />4. Most bluetooth headsets, mainly the ones which are turned on by pressing and holding a Multi-Function Button (MFB, also called answer/end button) for a couple of seconds, enter the pairing mode by pressing and holding the MFB for much longer than the time required for them to be turned on (usually 6 to 10 seconds). Release the button when you notice it is in already in pairing mode (see rule #2). Other headsets, usually the ones whose microphone is in a boom, enter the pairing mode just by opening the boom, provided that either they have never been paired to other devices before, or, otherwise, those devices have their bluetooth radios turned off. <br /><br />5. Once it is in pairing mode, make the bluetooth application, on the device you want to pair it with, search for new devices. After a little while, your headset should appear on the device' screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey, or pass code) is requested, enter either '0000' (four zeros, which happens to be the most commonly code chosen by manufacturers), or '1234', or '8888'.<br /><br />6. If the pairing process is successful, your headset will enter the stand-by mode. There might be some type of indication that a bluetooth headset is attached, on the device just paired with it too.<br /><br />7. You headset will stay in pairing mode for a couple of minutes only. If it happens to leave that mode before you are able to finish the procedure, turn your headset off and start it all over again.<br /><br />Hope these tips can be useful to you.<br /><br />Regards,<br />Carlos

How to connect htc smart to computer for surfing internet

Using USB...

On the phone, goto Start, Programs, choose internet sharing. On the computer, make sure that activesync doesn't think it is connected, and plug in a mini-usb cable into the phone. After a moment, Windows should detect the new "network connection" and take over from there.

Using Bluetooth,

Open the bluetooth manager. Setup a partnership with the phone (pairing). Once done, goto properties for the partnership, and check "enable network capability' or similar. On the phone, goto Internet Connection Sharing, and switch from USB to Bluetooth. Note, you phone needs to be paired with the computer already.

Flashing USB

The flashing light on the adapter that is plugged into the USB port is normal operation of this mouse. In order to hide the light, I put electrical tape over it. There is no way to turn it off, as the flashing light is an indication that it is receiving a signal from the mouse.

Mouse trouble

To fix this problem, first uninstall your mouse in your device manager. After this, use the mouse's install CD to reinstall the driver. If you do not have a CD, or it does not require a CD, windows may already have the driver pre loaded and can take care of it. If not, you can goto the mouse manufacturers web site and download the driver from there.
