Cooling fan has the function to protect kitchen furniture from excessive temperature. The fan will cool the oven even you turn it off (not unplug from wall socket). This will happen only after the temperature decreasing below 70 degrees. If this does not happen then is faulty thermal cut-out which is located between wiring on the top and has 4 pins.

cooling fan works on a temp sensor in the engine block. it only turns on when the temp reaches a set limit and shuts off when it gets below a set limit.. cooling fan components are , fans, fan relay , and temp sensor . best way to test the fans would be to let the car set running and watch the temp till it goes up to 185 -195 deg. at this time the fans should turn on and the thermostat should open and cool the engine back down. also when ever the air conditioning is on so should the cooling fans be on. if the fans do not run the check all components till you find the broken one. fan relay and air conditioning relay are separate but work the same. and will interchange

It can be issue with faulty motor or its faulty fan control relay.

Both are to be inspected.

Test volt at fan relay and fan motor.

1)LUBE THE DECK BELT, INMEDIATELY.
2) tES THE MOTOR INPUT VOLTAGE, IF THER ARE THE MOTOR NEED REPAIR.
3) tEST THE OUTPUT VOLTAGE BOARD, FOR INPUT VOLTAGE MOTOR, IF THERE ARE NOT THE BOARD IS FAULTY.

4) tRY TO RUN THE SOFTWARE CALIBRITATION.

Hello: Cooling fans only come on below 30MPH. At idle in town or otherwise below 30 MPH the only come on with temp above 236 degrees F. If your A/C works, start car turn on A/C open hood and look at fans they should be on. The sensor for temp is on the back outward side of the rear head if you have a V/6. On the 4 cylinder it is on the back of the engine toward the driver side. Try this to remove the key while attempting to remove the key try turning key on and at the same time jiggle the key while going to the lock position and pull on the key. Most likely the tumblers are worn out and you will need a new key and lock cylinder. You could try a new key first, it may correct your problem.

The cooling fan relay is located in the engine compartment just behing the left headlamp...not under the dash. There are cooling fan test connectors built into the wiring harness near the left strut tower. The cooling fan relay is controlled by the cooling fan temperature switch located on the rear of the engine. There are 3 temperature sending units on your car if it is equipped with a temperature gauge. If not, there are 2 sending units, One is for the computer and the other is for the fan relay.

The one for the cooling fan will have 2 wires, one Tan and Orange and the other Brown and White.

The cooling fans and cooling fan relay get their power from fusible links built into the wiring harness near the starter relay.

Dodge Caravan is notorious for failure of the electronic cooling fan control module (AKA cooling fan relay). This is not a "relay", it is a solid-state control unit, but many people call it a relay anyway.
It is mounted on the inside of the left frame rail just behind the radiator. You have to look up from UNDER the vehicle to see it. It looks like the picture below. The picture shown is very close to actual size.
