Telvision Problem my kids bought me a 32 inch flat screen ilo and after 2 months the tv remote doesn't control the tv anymore or i can not turn the volume up or turn the channels all it does is turn on and off the tv and i have reported the problem and they said that they would send paper work and it hasn't got here so now i am writing you to see if i can get a response. and the volume can not be turned up or down it is set at a low volume and cant be turned up or down. thank you please help me with this problem

Do the controls on the tv itself work or just the remote? If it's the remote mabey it's defective. I would look on the Ilo site and see if they recommend a universal remote for their models ( or just getting yours replaced ). If the problem is within the tv, I'd look into the warranty. Sorry if this wasn't any help.

It is very difficut to get a substitute remote control for your ILO TV. Anyway try these codes with your present remote control. These codes are with AT&T U-verse remote for ILO TV. The codes are:
1412, 1435, 1436
If these codes does not work with your ILO TV, buy one AT&T U-VERSE remote control. It will match for it. OK.

How do i get the close caption of my ILO tv if i do not have the remote control?

Goto to the tv manual control buttons right side of the LCD panel used the Menu button find the functions captioning turn all CC1,2,3 and text 1,2,3 off.Will not getting anymore captioning.

Remote wont change to vid1, vid2 please help

The GE universal remote #24914 works to change your Ilo tv from analog to digital and switch to vid1 or vid2 ect.... The code is in the book that comes with the remote. I use this remote myself. This remote can be bought at Target for under $10.

First thing to do is see if this happens on ALL inputs so you can pin piont the Tv and not the source. if it still happens the only way to repair this type of problem would be to replace the main board for this set

if it's ILO LCD 32 inch then call Initial Electronics 1 800 216 5156, but be warned, not very good customer service. Takes a long time to get what you want.....my tv has been 'getting fixed' for 2 months now.

My manual tv controls don't work on the tv or cablr remote

Had the same issue 4 1/2 months after purchase(2 weeks after Wal Mart's warranty expired of course). I contacted Ilo and was told it was the main circuit board.
