Hp protecttools Hello, I have a problem with a power pc hp. After loading giving me an HP ProtectTools Key Passphrase Generation Enter a memorable passphrase that will be used to encrypt your data secure. Lenghu minimum is 8 characters, including one punctuation character. For best result, enter a mix of least 30 letters, numbers, and special characters. I do not have a space in which he could enter a code or anything to confirm, just seems to me as if the screen is frozen on that message. The only thing I have in addition t messages dektop is in the upper left corner of the lock, which does not respond if you try to touch it with the stylus. I do not really know why it's come to this and do not know how to get out of the HP protect tools???

You can turn off HP Protect Tools, or simply configure HP Protect Tools to not encrypt your data.

if you forgot your password then that might become a problem now. you have to bring that to a service center to unlock that.

The code you are referring to is probably the license key for Microsoft Outlook. If you have lost the key you can buy Microsoft Outlook from any good computer stores. The other application you will need for Outlook to sync with the ipaq is Microsoft Activesync which is free and does not need a license key. You can download activesync from Microsoft website or from the cd.
