You probably have a leaking CRT (picture tube) as well. Don't overlook the issue before replacing the board otherwise you will burn a second one.

These are the part numbers for all the boards that deal with the display. Im leaning towards the sustains as well and you need to do both at the same time cause if one is bad and you replace just one, a bad one can fry the new one.

Rca 46la45rq has backlight and power but no sound or picture replaced main and inverter boards

Was this the original problem before replacing the main board?
Maybe you have to set the new main board from maintenance menu. Sound and image comes from the main board, so i believe it has to be something about it...

good luck

I can not get the power to turn on. I believe it may have corrosion form leaving batteries insdie the flash.

Clean as much corrosion as you can from the contacts. If you've already done so then the corrosion has spread to the wires connected to them and will need to be replaced. This means opening up the unit and unsoldering the old wires between the contacts and the circuit board and replacing them with new ones.

You'll need to take great care as a flash capacitor can store a lethal charge, and you'll also need good soldering skills to both ensure that the new joints are sound and that you don't put too much heat into the circuit board causing damage.

The actual repair though just costs a couple of pieces of wire and a bit of solder, so is very cost effective if you have the tools and skills.

Atwood GCH10A-4E won't heat in electric mode. 12v power to circuit board no 12v power to relay. Is new circuit board only solution?

CHECK THE FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN THE CONVERTER BOX. MAKE SURE THE 110V SWITCH BEHIND THE WATER HEATER IS TURNED ON. IF THERE IS POWER AND "ALL" THE 110V SWITCHES ARE ON, TIME TO OHM OUT THE HEATING ELEMENT, LOCATED UNDER THE BOX BEHIND THE WATER HEATER.
IN ORDER TO HAVE 12V AT THE CIRCUIT BOARD, 112V POWER HAS TO GO THRU THE RELAY. SOUNDS LIKE U HAVE A WIRING PROBLEM SOMWHERE, EITHER AT THE SWITCH OR AT THE WATER HEATER SOMEWHERE.

A leaking coppertop battery has resulted in corrosion of spring terminal second from base. attemped cleaning of spring and New batteries will not power up the flash unit

If the corrosion worked its way in to the circuit board, you have 2 choices.

Get it repaired at Canon or somewhere else.

Buy a replacement.

YOUR PCM CIRCUIT BOARD THAT CONTROL THE INJECTORS IS NOT TRIGGERING THE INJECTORS.I WOULD SCAN IT FIRST BEFORE BUYING A NEW PCM.SCAN IT TO LOOK FOR PCM FAILURE CODE.

Water under unit

I'm sorry to hear this.

If you're really lucky, and it was just wet while you were first testing it, it will have dried off since then and might work now. However, the odds are better that the problem is not a wet board, but rather a corroded board.

The water must have caused corrosion on the traces and/or components in the audio portion of the circuit board.

First unplugg the unit and all the cables. Use a good light to help you look inside the center of the audio jacks. Can you see any corrosion inside the jack? If yes, roll up a piece of emery cloth small enough to put inside and use it to clean the jack.

If that doesn't work, the unit would have to be taken apart. All the connectors removed. You MAY have to remove the VCR assembly if it is sitting over top of the circuit board. That's not fun.

The object is to remove the entire circuit board so you can put it on a bench or table. You'll need a good light and a magnifying glass.
You have to examine the entire circuit board for patches of rust. Pay particular attention to the bottom of the board as it was closest to the water.

Check the components for corroded leads,
check the ports where they are mounted to the board,
check the wiring harness connectors,
check the general condition of the board and the traces. Any traces that have rusted through will have to be repaired using jumper wire and solder. Rusted components will have to be reattached using solder, or replaced if they are unrepairable. Contaminated harness connectors will have to be resoldered at least, and may need jumper wire to repair traces they connect to. They may also require their pins to be cleaned, and the corrosponding harness may also need its matching connector cleaned. Check the harnesses for broken or rusted through wires and repair accordingly.

That's a lot of work, but it's unlikely you'll need to do all of it.
Once you find the rust, you can concentrate on that area and do a general check of the board after the repair.

If this isn't your cup of tea, time to buy a new one.
