Most likely, the eelectrical solenoid that releases the door's latch has failed. The control board may be the fault. The solenoid is in the door and in many models the board is too. If you wish to inspect either component, do it safely by insuring the power is disconnected. Some troubleshooting requires the power to be on. If you're comfortable working with live circuits, practice the utmost in safety. Let us know...
your machine should only get hot water going into your machine .that is the problem right there, chek faucet temp then start machine must be hot going in.the tablet even if was dropped will not dissolve in cold water. let me know if i was helpful to you
Put the tablet in the bottom of the washer ,do a wash cycle,if the tablet is used up the washer is not releasing the tablet till the end of the wash, if the tablet is still there the water is too hard or the tablet is faulty.
The detergent tablet dispenser door is energized by a solenoid wired directly to timer control board. The drawer will normally open releasing the tablet when the machine starts filling.
If the Drawer does not release the tablet, then either dispenser solenoid is faulty, or timer board mast be replaced.
If the machine is functional but does not release, then the technician will probably need to replace the detergent table dispenser solenoid, that often is built in with dispenser assembly.
You can call support ringing the number listed at the end of the owners manual.
Please run the machine without detergent for 2-3 washes. Also try using a little hot water. Also, don't used cleaner and softener together but add softener on the last rinse.
Hi and wlecome... You should not use anything other than powered dishwasher detergent in these products. They are not designed for tablet-style detergents. The reason is because the dispenser does not "open" during the wash cycle like you would see on a conventional dishwaser. The incoming water pours over the detergent and releases the mixture out the bottom of the dispenser. We had the same problem - we found that items on the top shelf were too far forward and stopping the dispenser from opening. Try making sure nothing is in the way when you shut the door.
