I recently had Samsung upgrade firmware in MP3 player at service centre. All tested and ok. When I connect to my computer it connects but then only downloads a few songs, wants to convert all the remianing songs, but stops. (these songs were all previously on the MP3 player and are mp3 format). Then the USB connection doesn't work and the computer won't recognise the connection. I have tried with Windows Media Player10 and Samsung media player. The unit works fine at the service centre, but seems to crash on my computer. Strange thing is that the MP3 player worked perfectly on my computer before going back to Samsung for a firmware upgrade. Have gone back to Samsung but with no help. Any ideas apart from reformatting the computer. Have also tried several USB ports on the computer but none recognise the MP3 player.
Its not your computer its the firmware you can go to samsung .com and get a older version of the firmware and put it in yourself you might haft to put it in the wma only mode to do this
