When on the Internet my monitor screen has developed cross hatching (tiny crosses)and close-up dots on most parts of the screen. This makes it impossible to read the words that are written within these areas. Also pictures are so "grainy" it is impossible to tell what they are, and colours are distorted. This happened after a young repair man came to look at my computer (not the screen!)and discovered the 4 buttons at the bottom of the Daewoo monitor and took a "gung ho" attitude to pressing them all. They are various menus (about 6) and I have tried to get back to where I was to no avail. Can anyone help. The monitor is 9 years old, very good quality, but because most of the local repair guys are young they have not seen this before, and do not know how to cure the problem.Unfortunately there is no "reset to factory setting on any of the menus" which might have cured the problem.
Here is a the link for the manual for your monitor, you have to register to download it but it is free http://www.theusermanualsite.com/manuals/mfg/daewoo_electronics/daewoo_cmc_707b_cmc707b.html I had some trouble opening the page - hopefully you get more luck and you find what you need in there. Hope this helps, please post again if you can't open the page - i looked for it in a lot of other places with no luck yet, but i will try again if you need :)
