The manual says 256M max. Maybe you can't use the 512M.

You can download the Toshiba SD memory utilities from here; http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp Just filter the results with "SD" and you will find several different downloads for either xp or vista. This will do the same as the Sigma Tel program, which appears to be unavailable online. Hope this helps - please ask again if you still have trouble :)

I'm using a 1gb sandisk sd memory card to sync mp3 song on it. THe mp3 songs go on it fine and play on the computer and on the mp3 player ok. The problem is I have about 533mb of space used and have about...

You may have reached the maximum number of files allowed in the root directory of the file system. If you already have a folder on the card, try moving some of the MP3 files into that folder. If you can copy 1 new MP3 file onto the card, that is your problem. Hopefully your MP3 player supports folders!

Z3 will not accept a 2g card

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.

Micro sd 4gb card problems.

Check the Sansa tutorials at http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1468
to make sure you have followed all the steps first.

In my experience, every mp3 player/photo frame/etc with a card reader has a MAXIMUM memory limit for the type of card that it can read. It is possible that the Sansa player can only read 2GB Micro SD cards or smaller - and thisi nformation may not have been available when they printed the manual. If you have followed all instructions, and it still will not read the card, try switching to a 2GB Micro SD card.

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.
