Convergence problem I recently was given a 53" Hitachi tv 53SDX20B. After reading some fixes on here it seems it has an IC problem. My question is this ..... is there a way to just replace the board that the IC's that are in need of replacing instead of soldering them. If so where would I find such a place. Many thanks... newbie on the block

You probably won't find a new one but you could probably send yours in to be rebuilt if you don't want to attempt the repair. Google PTS Electronics for there info you can call for a quote, sometimes they even have them on the shelf and you can just return your old one. You'll pay more but less work.
