Cooling Problem I have a Kenmore Side By Side Model #596.58392890. Both sides stop cooling. Any Ideas?

Side by sides works fine for ten hours or so then quits cooling

it sounds like you have a thermostat problem replace thermostat first its the cheapest about r120.00

is the compressor hot? same as last job. unplug ref. clean the condenser coil, install new 3n1 start relay on compressor.

My frig stopped cooling

Interior lights working?
If not check circuit breaker or fuse for that circuit.

If they are on, are you still hearing any noise from the compressor?
If not, your compressor may have failed or you have lost too much coolant for it to turn on.

If the compressor is running, a circulating fan may have failed and the cooled air is not circulating.

Kenmore side by side Model # 59507992

the relay overload plugs into the side of the compressor. its a common problem make sure you get one that matches your model number. it will fix the problem
