Memory Card The meomory card for my camera is empty but the camera is registering it as full.

Hi, if I may add to Indian Guru's post - power on the camera, press menu button, go to mode menu, go to card, then card setup, you will have two (2) choices: All Erase or Format. Choose Format. This will reformat the memory card and restore it to usable state assuming there is nothing really wrong with the card. Hope this be of some help. Good luck

Memory card is corrupted no doubt take a card reader availbale in normal mobile and computer accessories shop and format it i.e the card once again

may be your memory card is a high capacity type you must know the supportable stick, there is classification in memory sticks, SD/ SDHC/ SDXC like, high GB will not support your cam.

What does "Memory Full" mean? The card was empty when inserted and only 1 picture taken.
Memory full means the internal memory is full and the camera won't let you use your memory card until you format the internal memory with no card in the camera.

Camera say no meomory card
There are several possible causes for "memory card locked" or "memory card error". Some include trying to use of a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the switch on the side of the card, and the switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). You need to get rid of the pics in the memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory.

Say's the memory card is full. It is a new empty (kodak cw330)
You may need to go into the Menu Selection of the camera & locate the "Format" option. Choose Format & see if it will then read the card.
