I have a problem with the cimbali M29. When I' trying to fil water to the boiler, doesn't stop so it is overfilled..what to to?
Overfilling boiler (won't steam and and water comes out of the over pressure and or vacuum valve)
*** BEFORE checking inside of machine. Check for table/machine is level!. Carefully fill a glass tumbler with water. Place on top of machine (cup rack is a good place or drain tray.) pour more water till near rim. water should be even all around the edge of cup! Not even? Turn/twist feet as needed to raise/lower machine to level. (cup sleeves work but needs replacement every week.) Level? okay recheck machine. Otherwise continue on:
1. water fill valve stuck and or leaking. Replace.
2. Manual fill valve stuck or leaking. Replace (OR disconnect and seal. Not used anymore when gas heaters were used at one time.)
3. water level probe. Clean or replace (it's just a shiny nail. Clean it.)
4. Water level float (like a toilet tank float but smaller) Check if full of water. replace.
5. water level probe wire disconnected (put back on probe tip)
6. Rare cases; bad PC board (Expensive)
Note; Most common problem is an unstable (not level) table. I've seen sagging tables, shelves, press board soaking in water. Icecream covers with planks, Card tables, Books, and rodents make homes under a nice warm espresso machine table.

First check to see if it is electrical or Mechanical. Turn off machine see if it still overfills, if so you have a Mech problem. If not touch a screwdriver from the probe to the boiler and see if you can turn it off.

One thing to check... Have you switched to 100% reverse-osmosis or distilled water recently? I read that the water level probe needs conductive ions (e.g. calcium) in the water for it to detect that water has risen to the probe's level. So, water with too few ions will not register on the gauge, and the tank will continue to fill.
