make sure your cartridge are not empty 1st try to print noozle check,if all colours are in good print if not try to make a head cleaning command 2-3 times...after check again print noozle.
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.
Press the ink and On buttons together and hold them down for about 3 seconds.
The Stylus CX turns on and prints a test pattern, which includes anozzle check. Shown below are some examples of what the nozzle checkmay look like.

If any of the colors is missing, perform a head cleaning routine. It appears that the magenta head is having some problem. Try printing again after performing a head cleaning task. If the problem continues you might need to replace the head.
Check the ink wells are installed in correct order. Next, do a nozzle check (same place as the cleaning). This will have you print a pattern and ask you if it looks normal. If yes, you are good to go. If not, you may need to align the print heads. This can also be done in the same place as the print cleaning and nozzle check. Hopefully that will take care of the problem. Next step is print head replacment.
