Hi Antivirus 2008 is an adware program - a form of virus. You should be able to get rid of it using a good antispyware program or something like norton antivirus. If you do not have a program installed I suggest you try using spyware doctor: http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/download/
That will help remove antivirus 2008. I also suggest you install an antivirus program if you do not already have one. I good free option is AVG antivirus: http://free.avg.com/
