Kenmore elite H3 dryer

Hi, The dryer was working just fine. Now when I click on normal to start the load it lights up and makes a beep but then the dryer never starts. Any solution? I unplugged it and plugged it back in and removed the lint screen and it is still not starting. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, -Jennifer

You may have a bad thermister. I usually just replace them. Also could be a door switch.

Did you resolve the issue with the Kenmore Elite H3 Dreyer of just beeping and not turning on? I can be reached at the email below - Thanks - It lights up and just a beep and a clickng noise when you hit...

There's a thermal fuse located on the blower housing that blows when the vents and ducts are clogged or when the thermistor, also on the blower housing, fails. This thermal fuse is wired in series with the motor and if blown, power to the motor is terminated causing it no to run. The motor activates the heating circuit through the motor centrifugal switch only when the motor runs. No dryer function works then when the motor cannot run.

Access then bypass the thermal fuse and if the dryer runs, the thermal fuse is indeed blown. Make sure the vents and ducts are clear then replace the thermal fuse including the thermistor to address the problem. Do not use the dryer with the thermal fuse blown due to fire hazards. Kenmore Elite H3 control buttons - some work some don't

The diagnostic function will not help you if your user interface board (UIB) is acting up because to put into diagnostic you have to select drain spin, then the no spin option, and hit the prewash button 4 times.

It sounds like your UIB is the problem.

Dryer isn't working

I had success.  I found the manual....unplugged the dryer, and rotated the inside drum several times to check for any coins or small objects.  I did not find anyything, but if something small was lodged it is not hampering the dryer.  I plugged it back in and it worked right away...

Kenmore HE2 Dryer makes three beeps but wont start

What happens is that the door switch gets turned inside. I just took mine apart because of the same problems listed. The switch has a tab inside that has to make contact with the internal switch. I pulled mine apart and turned it so it made contact...put it back together and it works fine now. After doing all that it seems like you could turn the swith from the outside a quarter turn with a pair of pliers and accomplish the same thing.

Kenmore elite h3

I have an H3 washing machine and the rubber bellow lip that seals the front door from leaking has torn causing water to leak out. Can this bellow be repaired or easily removed and replaced without calling a service repairman.
