How do I set up my Voicemail?

1. Lift your handset and dial *98.
2. The voicemail system will answer and ask you to "Enter your four digit PIN".
3. Enter the last four digits of your telephone number.
4. The system will advise you that your voicemail box is not set up and will guide you through the steps.
5. Follow the Voicemail prompts to:

You could go into your voice mail and press the prompts to set up your PIN. Voice mail will get you into your settings usually. Try long pressing the number 1 to access your voice mail.

If you already know how to access your voicemail, try using the last four digits of your phone number as your initial PIN. That is the way most phones used to be set up. If that works, then you can create a another PIN to your liking and no longer have to use the last four digits of your phone number.

The CS6419 isn't an answering machine. To gain access to your voicemail, please consult the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have on your telephone line.

Call the phone company and talk to them or go online and there might be an option on your account to change it!

This depends what voicemail you have, SVM OR TVM. and you need to know what group rings in each mode SVM day *47 (voicemail extension number) (PIN number) *38801 record STORE NIGHT *47 (voicemail extension number) (PIN number) *38811 record STORE TVM voicemail extension number (500 or 200) #6* (ringing group number) option 3 then 1 then 1 follow the prompts

The CS5111 isn't an answering machine. Please consult the documentation for whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have connected to your phone line.

Call your own phone number and enter your pin to check voicemail. If you have not used voicemail before it will walk you though setup and allow you to set a pin.

Reset voicemail password from AT&T's automated system

Call 611 or 800-331-0500.
Enter the wireless number starting with area code .
Press 3 to "get help with voicemail."
Press 3 to reset your VM password.
Enter the Billing Zip code for the account.
After a few seconds, iPhone will display "Password Incorrect - Enter Voicemail Password."
Enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap OK.

NOTE: You must be registered and logged into myWireless Account to view this information.

From the myWireless Account home page, select Phone/Device then choose the Reset Voice Mail PIN link from the left column.
IMPORTANT: If there is more than one line on the account, make sure the correct wireless number is displayed in the Wireless Number list before selecting Reset Voice Mail PIN.
To reset the password for any of the lines on the account, choose a wireless number from the dropdown menu

Use the super key again to program a speed dial key that dials the voicemails number. Instead of selecting 'clear' slect "change" and type in the number. To find the number of the voicemail, go to another phone and press their voicemail key and watch the display. It may briefly display the voicemial group number. You also can dial the voicemail number without the use of a button on your phone. But, you have to know the voicemail group number to dail it. Sorry i dont know the number to tell you, it could be anything that the installer decided to make it.
