Soap powder remains in the soap compartment

I have a 2 year old Hotpoint Aquarius WF541 and after each cycle  a large amount of soap powder remains in the drawer. I have removed the inlet pipe, cleaned the drawer and inside with bleach and put the washing machine on at 95 wash (empty)
Any suggestions

Depending on which compartment the powder is remaining in, it could be low water pressure causing the problem.
If it is taking some down, but not all the powder, then try putting the powder towards the front of the compartment.
If all else fails then I suggest you get one of these dispenser balls that you put straight in the drum with the washing.
Plz rate this solution.
thanks.

Hotpoint aquarius wf541. leak's water when filling. I've cleaned the filter but stil leaking. ?.

Hi

This is either the large pipe that connects from the bottom of the outer drum, to the suds pump inlet, or the pump bodies itself, or the seal inside the pump. This may be tricky to work out where the leak is coming from, but just use a good torch, with the back removed, and watch it through a short cycle. If it is a plastic pump, they usually have small screws holding the 2 parts of the pump body together. Try tightening these, if they are loose. Also if the machine is over 8 years old and has had a lot of use, it will most likely be the pump seal.

After the dishwasher runs there is a lot of soap left in the soap dispenser. I've tried powder and liquid. Liquid is a bit better. I've tried using less soap but there still is a lot left. Also my glasses...

With the LG LDF6810 model, this is not a common problem. Please try the following test, With and empty dishwasher, add a small to normal amount of dry dishwasher powder and run an (empty) load.
Check to see if any soap remains in the dispenser cup.
If any remains, here are three things to do: 1.) Upgrade your dishwasher detergent to a name brand powder (e.g.: Electrosol or Cascade)
2.) When you load the dishwasher, do not place large items in the front, near the door/soap dispenser.
3.) Before you load the dirty dishes for the next several loads, with your hand, turn both the upper and lower wash arms so they point at the door. Load as you normally do and push the racks fully in. Before you close the door, spin both the upper and lower arms and confirm that they spin freely and neither hits anything. if either does not spin freely, pull out the rack and arrange so the arms can spin freely.
I find that the only time I have left over detergent powder is when the wash arms do not spin freely.
This is a common problem on most every energy star/water conserving dishwashers.
Please report back what you find, OK?

Water is leaking from soap dispenser only at beginning of cycle

Remove dispenser drawer, and check for soap blockage.
Locate and clean filter, check to see if there is one located behind bottom kick strip, if no filter there, then you will have to remove lower rear cover of washer, and locate and remove the large black hose on bottom of tub.
Remove filter and plastic ball, clean and replace.
Refit filter, ball and hose ,ensuring it is fitted correctly.
Test for leaks.
Plz ratev my solution.
Thanks.

Could SOAP DISPENSER be caked with soap???

POWDERED DETERGENTS GET CLOGGED ALOT IN THOSE DISPENSERS. I ADVISE CUSTOMERS TO FILL THERE WASHER AND ADD SOAP WHEN IT STARTS TO AGITATE WHEN USING MORE THAN A 1/2 CUP OF POWDER ... THEN ADD YOUR CLOTHES ... THE WASHER HAS A SAFTEY SWITCH WILL STOP MOST WASHERS WHEN AGITATING OR IN SPIN CYCLE,SO YOU CAN LOAD CLOTHES ... OTHER THAN THAT ... ALL YOU CAN DO IS KEEP THAT DISPENSER FLUSHED OUT WITH HOT WATER AFTER EVERY WASH. JUST POUR HOT WAYER TROUGH IT ... IF THE WATER BACKS UP (EVEN WITH A SLOW POURING) THE DISPENSER IS PLUGGED AND NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED OUT WITH A HOSE. GOOD LUCK AND STAY DRY !!!
