I have an HP Pavilion laptop. It was working fine just over 2-months ago but now, it won't power up. The network light blinks but that's all. Can you tell me why it will not come on when plugged in the wall outlet? Do you think it's a battery, a motherboard or some other problems? Please advise!

Hello there. There's a chance that it's a problem with the battery. But we do need to run some tests to determine the cause of the problem. 1. Kindly make sure the wall outlet is working by plugging inanother device like a TV or lamp, just to check if power is coming through it just fine. 2. Turn off the laptop completely. Unplug all the cables connected to the laptop, including the power cord then remove the battery. 3. Plug the power cord back to the outlet(without the battery inserted) then press and hold the power button on the laptop for 10 seconds. Then check if it would turn on. If it does then it means the problem is with the battery and it needs to be replaced or you can try to charge the battery again with the laptop turned off. It would also help if you can give me the complete brand/model of the laptop. Have a nice day.
