7 blinks in the this series(KLV) means there is a short in the power supply board. The easiest way to fix this would be to swap out the board. I can find you a replacement if you want to try fixing this yourself.

SOURCE: I have purchsed (Sony Bravia LCD KLV-32 bx300).

This is a protection circuit that prevents the tv from coming on (to stop damage of the components) ....you need to check your voltages off the power supply and make sure they all read well (EX: 24v12v5v etc). Also, look for popped capacitors that would make the values lower than need be for the tv to power on properly.


After you repair the power supply's capacitors you may need to replace other components if needed

BUT always start at the root of the problem (power supply) and work your way to other components

The "LCD Panel" includes the "Inverter MT board" and the "TCON control MT board". The part numbers depend on the serial number of your KDL32BX300. Only one of the inverter boards is available separate from the "LCD Panel". One of the "LCD Panel" assemblies is available for a cost of $518.45. If the serial number of your TV begins with a 5, you are in luck if you would like to replace the "LCD Panel".
