Pink screen many neon pink lines across the screen

If the line is Horizontal then you deffinantly have a cable issue, replace the cable and that should do it, if it continues the problem could be in the port itself, if using HDMI switch to VGA or composite to test this theory. please keep me posted.

your screen might have some pixels defect, try to boot your machine to your BIOS mode and if it still shows in there then you may want to contact your computer company for a repair or replacement of your screen.

Did you also replace the power inverter when replacing the screen???

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence


These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. We have aKDF-E42A10 for a bout 2 yearsnow and we now have 13 horizonal lines across the screen, they look like small square dotted lines across the entire screen from top to bottom. It be gan acouple of months ago as 2 of these lines that seemed to move up the screen. I called technical support and he made it sound like he never heard of the problem. I am very upset with sony right now. Anybody know how to fix the problem?ricedog

Your Canon A80 has problem of defective CCD Imager Sensor and this part need to be replaced.
Good news is that Canon will replace CCD Imager free of cost as per announced free of cost repair scheme.

Sounds like engine lamp is bad

"eprom upgrade" by Panasonic tech will solve the problem.

The LCD might have developed a fault. First try and ensure that the flexible film kind of connector is firmly in place and not damaged. As a final resort the LCD is to be replaced. take the back of the television and atthr back of the screen there is a sucker that sits on the back of t give it a tap and the pink goes away
