Hiya i seem to have a problem with my monitor. the monitor has been installed from sometime but has been unplugged and moved now when we plug the monitor into the port t comes up not signal , so we tried swapping wires around and in the 2nd port on my tower the message reads out of range.... there is power but no signal seeing as thi monitor has worked before how could this be? please could someone help
Start the computer.
After the ios info page/motherboard page is gone, start to press F8 a few times.
If you still get to the point that you see the Windows Logo loading screen, then press reset and try again.
If you have done it correctly, you will get to the Windows boot page.
Select Safe Mode and start Windows
Go to the video properties page by right clicking anywhere on the screen and adjust the video mode to 640x480 (or as low as it will go)
Restart the computer and see if that solves the problem.
If not, then do the same procedure, but go into system properties and unistall the video card.
Restart again, and install the drivers if needed.
