Can't update new Samsung Kies via Kies

Option 1. OTA(over the air) without cable
Go to Settings > (More) > About device > Software update > update
Before upgrade by OTA,
-Recommend using a proper Wi-Fi network to avoid abnormal carrier data fee.
-Make sure to charge the battery (more than 50% capacity) and to have the enough device memory. (at least 1GB )
-Do not remove the battery during upgrade.
-Do not use the rooted device.
Option 2. Computer with a cable
Install the 'Kies' and run it after connecting your phone. Simply follow the instructions shown in the 'Kies' software upgrade menu.

Option 3. Visiting the shops
Samsung Experience Shops(SES) are supporting the Smart Service* with software upgrade. Ask software upgrade service to Samsung experience Consultant at Samsung Experience Shop; you can enjoy the Samsung device, its accessories and contents freely during the upgrade time.
* Smart Service may not be available in some shops under space condition.

Connect the phone to the PC after fully charging the battery. Run Samsung Kies and update the phone (if a new update is available) after backing the data.

1. You need to back up your files before updating your phone and any previous Samsung Kies Software should be removed.

3. The update is only available by tethering your Captivate via a USB cable to a PC.

Step I: Download the latest version of Samsung Kies from official site of Samsung Kies. The latest version of Kies is: Kies_2.0.0.11044.

Step II: Open Samsung Kies and connect your Samsung Wave with PC (Wait for driver installation, if you have attached your phone for the first time with your pc)

As soon as Kies will detect your phone it will offer a prompt of new firmware update available, see the screenshot below

Step III: Now you will face a window of 'Agree to the Terms and Conditions." You can choose the option of save and don't save the information. This option is that, Samsung will store your information of IP and hardware specifications on their servers for 2 years. It is totally dependent on you, which you want to choose.

Step IV: It is strongly recommended not to disconnect your phone from PC until the upgrading process is complete. So take care of it.

Within few minutes (depends upon the speed of your internet connection). Upgrading process will move on and will complete successfully.

Note: Don't use any options on your phone, while the upgrading process is taking place, your phone will be restarted. DON'T PANIC!

Your phone will come to working state automatically and your Samsung Wave is successfully upgraded to Bada 1.2

Samsung Tab needs Kies software to update to latest firmware.
Download Kies from here and install it. When finished, launched the Kies and it should tell you whether there's need for an update or not.

i am purchase a samsang 3310i mobile but pc kies not available in net so i am not connecting computer internet via mobile
please guide me

Download and install Samsung Kies on your PC then connect the Tab via USB. Kies will detect the device and will automaticly notifies you on the screen if a new firmware update is available. Cheers.

go to your control panel in pc....
then open phone and modem options go to modem properties and then call to cust care they gave you a extra entilization command

You'll need a recent version of Samsung Kies, instead of PC Studio, as a software interface to tether your Samsung Star 3G Nano to ur pc.

1. install the Kies, preferably over Windows 7 ultimate.
2. have ur activated Rs. 98 GPRS/EDGE account readied.
3. Run Kies. Connect ur phone to ur PC. Let it get detected by Kies.
4. Finally use the Tethering icon to begin the process. Default options will be fine.
