Comes on, red light blinks for a minute then solid red on/off switch has no effect after that

i have the same problem.i changed the hot and flyback.now it sounds like the high voltage starts with a sizzle but the contacts click on the after about thirty seconds it clicks back off.

Hello,
The Horizontal Output transistor needs to be changed as it is most likely shorted. The current transistor on this set is a 2SD3402 (no longer available) it's new replacement part number is the 2SC5902.
Order 2 2SC5902 Horiz Output transistors.Replace the transistor by it self once and if all is ok then fine.
If not replace it again and also the the Flyback HV transformer. The HOT transistor is probably shorted again and the transformer is causing it.

Hi,
It seems problem with low screen voltage to three picture tubes in this rear projection tv.
If standby light blinks 5 times after three seconds long pause then adjust screen volts of each picture tube to solve this issue.
Screen volt adjustment requires expertise and job of professional so please call local tv repairman to help you.

How many times red light blinks? It is error code of problem in TV.
There would be pause of 3 seconds between blinks so count from pause to pause and let me know to find out solution.

TV shuts itself off..red light blinks 7 times.

The 7 blinks usually indicates a high voltage shutdown situation. Without the specific model, I can;t give you details about parts etc. The options are a defective flyback transformer or problem with the voltage regulation circuits. Please update this with the model number and I'll post additional details as soon as I can.

Our sony will not turn on, we hear the click but nothing.

The 7 blinks usually indicate a high voltage problem (voltage too high). It can be a simple regulator problem or something more complex. Please update this to confirm your model as KV-32FS120 and some indication of whether or not you wish to attempt the repair yourself.
