I have an Insignia D400 2.8 ghz with 512 meg of RAM. My Sony DVD was working fine. Then I upgraded my graphics card to the 256meg Radeon 9250 since my onboard Intel was only 64megs so I could run MS Flight Simulator X. I had previously loaded the game from the DVD, but when it ran too slow because of the card I deleted it until I could upgrade. Now that I have, the DVD will not see data, and actually doesn't run a DVD, although it seems to be working according to the troubleshooting. It gives the following message when I put in the MS FSX setup DVD which may give a clue. I hope someone can help. It says: This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification. I have XP Home/SP2. I didn't have any other problems until the upgrade. Any help would be appreciated. ---Dean
You need windows professional or vista the reason the game runs slow is you need at least 1 gig of ram as the operating system takes 256mb to run this is why the game recomends 2.0 ghz cpu or higher 1gig of ram or higher the graphic card recomended NVidia Geforce 512mb xfx series with pixal shading and dx 9c compatable. clean the dvd lens with a dvd lens cleaner. the motherboard maybe the cause to the iso-13346 specification as the game is designed on intel and amd processors. hope this will give you help
