Washer won't start a cycle

When we press the start button to start a cycle, the washer waits about a minute and then the letters "ddo" come up on the LCD. Normally as soon as start is pressed, water will begin entering the washer but not now. I verified the water supply is turned on and that the door is shut all the way. Any advice?

When you took out the dispenser door, a magnet may have fallen out. from the front part. you may need to tape a new one in.
'dispenser door open'
may be the error bc the magnet isn't there (acts as a sensor

I pressed the pause button to add a garment to my Whirlpool frontload washer. After doing so, I pressed the hold to start button, but the washer would not restart the cycle.

Switch the power off from the power outlet for a few minutes , then switch on and reset the wash cycle . Front loaders are not designed to add clothes mid wash.

Lg tromm manual

Problem is too much soap. Wrong soap. Press and hold: SPIN SPEED & SOIL LEVEL buttons--then press POWER button.
Wait for door to lock.

Press the START button (6) times--this will fill the tub with hot water to the maximum setting when it stops filling.

Press the START button two more times--this will enable the tub to tumble.
After 3 hours--turn "off" the washer.
Turn the washer back "on".
Select the shortest wash cycle (usually "quick wash") and press "START". This will rinse out the tub.

Ddo code comes up after closig door

Hello gracehamada - Typically DDO indicates that the washer has detected a problem with the dispenser drawer. Either the drawer is open and will not close properly or a professional needs to check the reed switch. Try resetting the washer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately twenty minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

"Pause" will not give way to the selected cycle

Turn off the machine then unplug it for at least 15 minutes and plug it back. Turn the washer on then press any button and wait for 5 seconds. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously and the most recent error code will appear on the display as an "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. Post back the error code to determine the problem and necessary actions to be undertaken in order to address it. Include also the exact model number of the machine if the foregoing instructions don't seem to be applicable with your machine.

Frigidaire Front load washer with ''ddo'' code

The DDO trouble code means that the detergent(D) dispenser(D) door is not closed properly((O)open).
The door uses a reed switch and a magnet to send the door closed signal to the control card.If the
magnet becomes dislodged you will get this code. You will need to have the magnet replaced in
its proper position to clear this code.

Washer won't start a cycle

Try some WD40 on the machine door mechanism, not on the door; & open/close the door while the machine switch is off, for the mech to become free.
